Unfortunately, the situation regarding landfills in Cyprus is
anarchic. Not only do some of the landfills not conform to EU
regulations, there are "fly tips" in many places on the island. It may
be illegal to deposit waste there, but, regrettably, that does not seem
to stop some individuals.
Cape Greco is a well-known beauty spot and nature reserve in the
southeast corner of the island. This short video clip illustrates the
