This site is all about everything we have no longer any use for,
whether we wish to call it waste, garbage, rubbish, trash or any other
name. Our natural reaction is to rid ourselves of it as fast as we can
and that is perhaps unfortunate because we may choose the easiest,
rather than the most judicious, way. Very often, the easiest way happens
to be the most environmentally-unfriendly way and the one to be most
avoided.
The site consists of a series of essays, a few of them "borrowed" from
my other web sites, many of them original. Each expresses my personal
thoughts on the subject. They are not geographically binding, but a
separate section shows how the particular interpretations of a small
island state, contextually Cyprus, can fit into the larger global view.
The contents of this site are not carved in stone, so please bookmark
it and visit regularly to see the latest updates. It is still being
developed.
